Happy St. Patrick's Day!

This year I thought we could try a traditional Irish Corned Beef and Cabbage! We invited over some friends who were up for something new and had a great time! It is actually quite delicious. I think we have a new tradition and it is even easy!

i've never tried this... and don't know if i want to. was it really good AND easy?

We tried it out this year to. I've always hated it, but I have to admit, it was better than I remembered. It did make my house stinky though!

All you do is throw the meat in the pot with a seasoning packet that it comes with, bring to a boil and then throw in the veggies later. It takes a while to boil to soften the meat, but you barely have to do anything. We threw in some potatoes, carrots and of course some cabbage. Next year I am going to try some soda bread.
