Madrid friends

Driving into Madrid was fabulous!  I lived in two different Madrid areas in total of 13 months.  It brought back so many memories and I was so happy to be there without the obligation to talk to everyone on the street!  It made me smile to speak in Spanish and by the time we left we had got a lot of it back!

We went straight to the temple grounds where we met up with a few old missionary friends. Here are a couple of roommates, a husband, boyfriend and one of my companions.

The next day we went back to the temple and did a session.

We met my Mission President outside.

That night and the next night we met up with the group and some members.  Two ladies from Alcazar de San Juan came out to Madrid.  It was so nice to see Angelines and Paqui.  The branch that I lived in had around 8 members and has about 8 members still!  Michelle also served in that area.

A group of sisters: Zapata, Espinoza, Viso, Richards and me.  We all lived together at some point except Zapata.

I also met up with Arus and Armen who were in my first area.  They invited us over to dinner and it was SOOOOO delicious.  I have so many food memories from Spain and this one just about tops the list!
