Reptile Zoo

My friend Amy wanted to go to the Reptile Zoo so of course I was happy to accompany! I have to say, this was our best trip yet!

We got to hold a baby alligator.
 A corn snake.

 Pet tortoises.
Look at skinks! Tess decided she didn't like it after a while and for the most part didn't really like the zoo! Hopefully, she will decide she likes the animals when she gets a little older.
And at the end when we were taking pictures outside the employee asked if we wanted him to bring out another animal to take a picture with. A little sheepish about causing an inconvenience I said yes thinking he would come out with a snake or something.Next thing we know he comes waltzing out with this HUGE alligator! It was awesome! This employee was super informative and helpful the entire time we were there. He even pulled out the gecko and would answer all of our questions. We will call ahead next time to make sure he is working.

Spring soccer

Cole did spring soccer this year. His team struggled a little bit but improved quite a bit as the season went on! Cole scored a goal and came SOOOO close so many other times. He was great at getting the ball right to the line of the goal!

Loosing teeth

Cole has had quite the lucrative couple of months from his teeth falling out. He has now lost 5 teeth! He is so anxious to get them out that he wiggles them and wiggles them till they come out.

Water fun

In May we had a handful of sunny days and I think we even reached 70 a few times. Of course anything remotely warm means we need to bust out the sprinklers on the tramp and the slip'n slide. The boys had a blast playing.

The sunny days left with the month of May and June has left us with nothing but rain and more rain! However, on a balmy 60 degree day the boys pulled out the slip'n slide again! Looks like we will be able to enjoy it more often this summer if they will do it at that temperature!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a blissful day where I was served all day and my kids were perfect....Okay, not so much but it was a pretty good day. The boys got me my favorite chips and a HUGE bag of gummy bears that they helped me eat. Matt brought me breakfast in bed and made steak for dinner. After church we went to Snoqualmie Falls. The day was nice so the drive was beautiful.
At school the boys made me a few treats. Ethan painted a yellow box filled with chocolates (which upon presentation to me asked me to share!) He asked me what my favorite color was and I said yellow and he said "I knew it!" So happy it made him happy. According to Ethan my favorite thing to do all day is dishes and my favorite food is hotdogs!

Cole made ceramic hands and filled out a questionaire about me. According to Cole
I am 30
I have blond hair and brown eyes
I love to play with Ethan (hmmm, what does that mean...)
My favorite food are tortillas and vegetables (close, I really like vegetables)
I know all about Kate (a kid in his class? Not sure about this one)
I love my mom because she loves me.

And she walks!

This post is a little late but Tess started walking everywhere about 2 weeks after her birthday! She is pretty pleased with herself.

And she makes loads of messes. Here favorite is the cereal cupboard with no childlock...
And she loves to wear pretties!
And she walks around everyday with all of my headbands and puts them on, takes them off and puts them back on again.
