Brotherly Love

The boys are growing up so much! They are becoming really good friends. They talk together all the time and play with each other all day long.

Father and Sons Campout

Matt took both boys to the campout this year. I kept holding my breath for the rain to cease and it magically did at their campsite. The boys loved it, played hard, came home dirty and can't wait to go again next year!
They used the set up tents this year which made things easier.

Mother's Day

The tradition in our family is that you get the day off for Mother's day. Matt let me sleep in, made french toast for breakfast, and managed the kids for the entire day! He barbequed steak for dinner and even made angel food cake for dessert. It was nice to have a day of leisure.

A Fancy Dinner and Concert

Our friends the Elenbaas's treated us to a fancy dinner and concert. We enjoyed the steak, sides and especially banana's foster! Matt with some yummy food in his mouth!
Tiff came to town for the weekend.

Shelley and I were both sick so we doped up on some Tussin before the show! The picture was taken right after a bird pooped on my shoulder. Nice eh?

The kids and I. I used to babysit the tall one, Daniel, when he was six months old!

Steve Kellog, cool guy, nice fluid voice

Need to Breath, rock Christian band.

It has been a long time since I have been to a show. It was good times. Had I felt better my dancing may have gotten out of control!

An Ugly Phase Continued

I posted about my dear Ethan the other day. He has taken it to a whole new level with his knee high socks. I thought I would share a picture. Fortunately he doesn't have many of these socks...

Yard tulips

I planted about 100 tulips this last fall. It has been fun to see them come up this spring! I also planted a bunch of seeds (hence the divets in the bark) and I can't wait to see what comes up!.

Tuilip Festival

We have never made it out to the tulip festival so we thought we would give it a try this year! We went on Sunday so Matt could join us. We didn't realize you had to pay to park in a few fields and mentioned to the parking attendant that we didn't bring our wallets (which was true) she let us in for free!

Baby Pigs

We live by a farm and every year the mommy pig has babies! This year there are only 9 and they are all little lady piggies. We make regular trips to check on their progress.

How many kids can fit on one small tramp?

Curly

I think I like this look the best with my additional hair! When I wear it like this random strangers comment on it all the time. It is kind of fun because that doesn't normally happen to me!
