More Ghana

Here are pictures of Matt that one of his classmates took!

 At the temple.
 At the reserve.
 At a slave castle.
Chillin.

Ghana continued....

Here are all the "MBA" activities that they did! Not pictured were visits to the Cadbury factory, parliment, and the stock exchange.
They learned how they die material.
Some meetings.
Some meetings went a little long and were hot hence the short nap!

Part of Matt's project was to help out with a Microcredit company and they got to meet some of the recipients of the loans.

A trip to Africa! Ghana to be exact.

As part of his MBA program Matt got to spend two weeks in Ghana. It was an amazing life experience! He got to sight see as well as meet with different businesses and even the ex-VP of the country. He also got to go to church and do a temple session while he was there. Here are some of the highlights: They visited a gold mine. They went out to Obuasi where they have the slave trade castles. This is the "point of no return." The coast where they would put the slaves on boats. One of the castles. They went to a rain forest reserve where they climbed on suspension bridges through the forest. Unfortunately they didn't see any animals! This is a memorial for the leader who helped give Ghana independence from England. He is buried here.

They went to a soccer game.

Tortilla and Paella

Spanish food is delicious but particularly tortilla and paella. Adrienne and I decided it would be appropriate to make them while she was visiting and it was DELICIOUS! I'm still thinking about how perfectly the tortilla turned out.....

35 Weeks

So, I didn't realize I was wearing the same shirt for my week photo, but you know, the maternity wardrobe is limited! The funny bit is that one picture is with long hair and the other is after I chopped it!

33 Weeks

Good news of the day, Tess is heads down! Bad news of the day, the nausea has returned....Matt is out of town so I let Cole take my picture this week. Don't mind the angle or the goofy face, but I am doing it for documentation sake!

30 Weeks

And I am looking more and more tired.....

What do you get when you are OCD and nesting?

Bus ride to the library

Ethan's preschool was going to ride the bus to the library! The schedules didn't quite work out for everyone and it was pouring with rain so Ethan and I were the only ones who braved the bus! Ethan really enjoyed it and was a trooper through standing and walking to the library in the rain! Then we stayed for storytime.

Flight Museum

Here in Washington they have something interesting called mid winter break! Kids don't have school for a few days in February. As they are off for spring break in March/April this little holiday always baffles me! Nevertheless, we decided to hit the Flight Museum. My favorite place to visit and the boys think it is pretty cool as well.
